In the area of Bacoli several frightened people took to the streets. Scary yes but no harm. The seismic swarm began at 1.38 am as explained by the Civil Protection Department, informing that the Italy Situation Room “is in contact with civil protection structures in the area and confirming that” from checks there was no damage.”
The other night an earthquake struck magnitude 2.4 it had been warned at 3.47 am by residents in the Campi Flegrei area, in the neighborhoods of Agnano And Bagnoliin Naples and in the neighboring municipalities, between Pozzuoli and Bacoli as part of a seismic swarm characterized by a fifty shocks but all of low intensity, never exceeding 1.4 magnitude.
