The Vittoria municipal council has approved the PIAO (Integrated Activity and Organization Plan). This is a new requirement for public administrations, functional to the implementation of the PNRR.

Administrations with more than 50 employees must bring together in this single act all the planning relating to the management of human resources, organization of employees in the various offices, training and methods of preventing corruption.

The PIAO lasts three years, but is updated year by year. Defines the programmatic and strategic objectives of the performance; the human capital management and organizational development strategy, also through the use of smart working, and the annual and multi-year training objectives, aimed at achieving complete digital literacy, cultural growth and educational qualifications of staff and progression of staff careers.

Finally, the Plan defines the methods for monitoring the outcomes, on a periodic basis, including the impacts on users, also through user satisfaction surveys.

Full satisfaction was expressed by the Mayor of Vittoria Francesco Aiello who declared: “this instrument approved today which I do not consider an arrival goal, but rather a starting point for the relaunch of the Institution. Finally we can go back to planning an increase in the reduced workforce in various sectors. The rebirth of the city also starts from the PIAO”.
