In recent days, the ‘Snap’ and ‘Press’ simulation projects were concluded – true examples of ‘learning by doing’ – in which the students of the ‘Tacito’ classical high school in Terni, directed by Roberta Bambini, soon also took part .

Reward yourself

And there was no shortage of satisfaction, thanks to the teaching staff and the coordination of Professor Laura Crovari, given that some participating students were rewarded with Honorable Mentions. They are Gabriele Daiuto (2°B), Elia Leonardi (3°D), Aurora Cardinali and Martina Paterni (3°F) for the ‘Snap’ part; Lucrezia Gatti, Elena Peschiaroli, Camilla Ridolfi, Alice Tappo (1st E) and Agnese Cardarelli, Martina Pellegrini, Elena Gulli (2nd D) for the ‘Press’ part.

What is ‘Snap’

It is a simulation of the Chamber of Deputies in which student parliamentarians first debated, then wrote and approved a bill. This year’s topic was education to combat gender violence, a very current and heartfelt topic.

What is ‘Press’

It is the acronym for ‘Editing and Writing for the Press Project’: the students transformed themselves into journalists and wrote articles, recognized and dismantled fake news, collaborated with colleagues to create a news story also using digital means.
