The issue relating to the “See Sicily” case continues to hold sway in the Sicilian political sphere, with the 5 Star Movement (M5S) in the Ars reiterating its position. The M5S group leader at Ars, Antonio De Luca, underlines that the financial hole of over 10 million euros, officially certified in the documents sent to the European Commission by the Region’s Audit Authority, confirms their previous complaints.
De Luca insists that a courtroom session dedicated to the case be convened, stating the need for a public discussion involving the entire regional delegation and interested citizens.
Furthermore, it highlights the importance of ensuring the correct use of European and national funds, criticizing the actions of the Musumeci government in this regard.
The intervention of the president of the EU commission of the ARS, Luigi Sunseri, reinforces the attention on the final decision of the European Commission regarding the case and underlines the importance of monitoring the future expenditure of European funds for the good of Sicily and its businesses .
