Venice – Cremonese 2-1
Venezia never stops, beats Cremonese in a comeback and looks at Serie A with eyes wide open. Vazquez’s goal wasn’t enough for the grey-reds, who scores on goal in the 23rd minute taking advantage of an uncertainty from Tessmann and Idzes, to bring home valuable points. In the second half Gytkjaer equalized from an assist from Pohjanpalo with Saro uncertain on the occasion. The grey-red goalkeeper then blocks his goal until the 31st minute when a splendid first move by the Venetians leads to Bjarkason’s winning cut. Then there was an unsuccessful attack by the Grigiorossi (double miracle by Joronen on Ciofani in the 95th minute) until the final whistle.
Pisa – Catanzaro 2-2
Pisa recovers from a two-goal deficit and draws 2-2 with Catanzaro. For one night, the Nerazzurri were eighth with 45 points, the Giallorossi fifth with 57. Catanzaro took the lead thanks to a lightning goal 30 seconds after kick-off: a corner from the left by Vandeputte and a volley by Pontisso who scored his first goal in the championship. Pisa reacts with the right attitude and creates many opportunities by hitting the crossbar at the beginning of the second half with Bonfanti, then Marin wastes a great opportunity by kicking on Fulignati. After many chances from the home team, Catanzaro doubled their lead on the counterattack with Ambrosino served by Vandeputte. Pisa is back in the running with new arrival Moreo, third goal in the league, who scores with a header from Beruatto’s corner. In the 37th minute Marin equalized with a deflected shot that deceived Fulignati.
