Winemakers, chefs, artisans: Teatro del Gusto arrives in the Quartieri Spagnoli

A three-day food and wine festival to taste and learn

Artisanal wine and food, all ready in the Quartieri Spagnoli for Teatro del Gusto, a three-day food and wine festival: over one hundred producers, with their exhibition and tasting stands, dozens of events with an absolute protagonist: wine. Appointment in the courtyard of the Foqus Foundation starting from Saturday 4 May until Monday 6.

Tastings, workshops, masterclasses, seminars, performances. A bar with over twenty chefs who will take turns in jointly preparing ever-changing dishes. Anyone who enters will receive a personal glass to taste all the wines on display. Three days of events and exhibitions for a review which, born in Ischia, arrives in Naples for its third edition, the complete program of which can be viewed on the website www.teatrodelgusto.net.

A festival on the theme of natural agriculture, conscious consumption and quality food and wine. A roundup of experiences with winemakers, chefs, producers, artisans.

The event is organized and curated by the “Teatro del Gusto” association. He obtained the moral patronage of the Municipality of Naples and the Campania Region. During the three days of the festival there will not only be the fair part dedicated to producers, who will be able to offer their wines to participants, but also various masterclasses with excellent disseminators and hosts.

Among these performers the names of Nino Barraco and Armando Castagno stand out, who will open the Festival; by Alessandro Marra, Matteo Gallello, Matteo Circella, Diego Sorba, Anna Prandoni, Vittorio Castellani, Marco Ambrosino, Luigi Sarno, Carlo Di Cristo, Stefano Amerighi, Salvo Foti, Fabio Gea, Aldo Viola, Monica Coluccia, Maurizio Paolillo and many others.

Finally, the tasting and content section will be accompanied by the continuous cooking section, Mario Avallone’s project dedicated to chefs.

“An organizational effort – explains the creator of Teatro del Gusto, AnnaMaria Punzo – for a common work of reflection and discussion on artisanal wine and food. Three days to reflect, reason, taste, learn: the tastings will accompany the events, the flavors will pair with the words. We imagine our festival as a true symposium: a showcase for producers, a continuous discovery for visitors. We want to open a space of innovation and network for natural flavors: from the earth, from the roots, to the future. In this sense, arriving after Ischia in the Quartieri Spagnoli fills our meeting with Naples with further meaning”.
