Territorial Operations Centre, ASL Roma 4 opens four in Campagnano, Bracciano, Cerveteri and Civitavecchia • Terzo Binario News

The redevelopment works of the four rooms that host the Territorial Operations Centers of the ASL Roma 4 have been completed in recent days and on the occasion of their activation the General Director, Dr. Cristina Matranga, wanted to visit the premises accompanied by the respective mayors, directors district and the PNRR team.

The COT, an acronym for Territorial Operations Centre, are the first of the nineteen PNRR projects that the local health company has implemented and represent a crucial node in the new healthcare network.

It is a nursing-managed organizational model that coordinates, manages and monitors changes in patient care settings by acting as a link between the various professionals and social-health services.

The tour started from the Municipality of Campagnano Romano where the ASL Roma 4 has redeveloped a two-storey building, located in via Lesen, granted by the Municipality and which, in addition to the COT, will see the construction of the new day center on the ground floor which, since the intervention , will gain space and a garden for outdoor activities.

The one in district 4 has also taken on the role of corporate COT to best meet the needs of the population of that area which, due to geographical proximity, tends to turn to acute hospitals located north of Rome.

“This Territorial Operations Center – explained the General Director, Dr. Cristina Matranga – had already been active for some time to coordinate the care of patients in the area who, after being discharged from Roman facilities, needed to continue their treatment in one’s reference company and therefore to activate specific care settings”.

“Thanks to this new structure and other services financed by the Pnrr – added the mayor of the Municipality of Campagnano, Alessio Nisi – the ASL is improving accessibility to health services in the Campagnano area. This helps to consolidate Campagnano’s role as a point of reference in the socio-health sector of the entire district. The Municipal Administration renews its commitment to support and collaboration with ASL Roma 4, with enthusiasm and responsibility. We are aware that only through synergy and mutual understanding based on efficiency and constant and continuous dialogue can we achieve the desired results. We will continue to work side by side with the Local Health Authority to ensure the well-being and health of our citizens.”

The delegation then visited the Bracciano headquarters in via del lago. The offices are located on the first floor of the building where the PUA is also present.

“The inauguration of the COT of Bracciano – said the mayor Marco Crocicchi – represents a further step in the structuring of social and health care services in an increasingly widespread and proximity model in our district. I therefore want to thank the working group of ASL RM4, from the technicians, through the healthcare personnel, up to the general director Dr. Cristina Matranga for the work done.”

The third stage took place in the municipality of Cerveteri in via Madre Maria Crocifissa Curcio.

“The inauguration of the Cot – said the mayor of Cerveteri, Elena Gubetti – carried out with Pnrr funds by the health company ASL Roma 4 is another important step forward on the road that leads to a widespread territorial health service that is increasingly closer to the real needs of citizens. Thanks to the Director Dr. Cristina Matranga and her entire team for the synergistic work that she is carrying out and which as mayor I am sharing with the sole objective of guaranteeing the right to health for everyone. “

The last stop was Civitavecchia. The premises of the latter were granted by Ater and the construction work of the Community House is also being carried out in the building.

“Congratulations to Dr. Matranga – said the Ater president, Dr. Massimiliano Fasoli – who has made excellent use of our premises by putting them at the service of the citizens. I hope to be able to find other synergies with the Roma 4 local health authority in order to allow Ater to expand its business by not relegating it exclusively to the management of public residential housing but also being able to provide a series of services to all citizens”.

“I was pleased to participate in the inauguration of the Civitavecchia structure – said the councilor for Social Services of Civitavecchia, Deborah Zacchei – on this occasion I highlighted the importance of a service that allows us to deal with social hardship in a more efficient way, thanks to the network of institutions. I, the mayor and the health councilor Massimo Boschini remain available for further synergistic projects between our institutions, as in the case of the premises in viale Togliatti”.

“We are getting to the heart of the PNRR projects destined to change the face of healthcare provision in the area – concluded Dr. Cristina Matranga – The COTs are a fundamental tool for the management of patients who are discharged from hospital or who need to be transferred from their home transferred to a social-assistance or healthcare residence. They represent a point of connection between professionals and services that will guarantee better and more effective care of fragile and chronic patients. I thank the mayors of the area and Ater for helping us by granting premises and spaces. I would also like to thank the companies carrying out the interventions and the designers of the interventions; their participation today is a tangible sign of the seriousness of the commitment made, not only towards the Company as a contracting authority, but also towards the population who resides there and who will make use of the new structures. Finally, applause goes to the team that is working on the PNRR, an excellent team that is working with great enthusiasm, competence and speed.”
