– the second appointment is on May 10th at 8.00 pm entry – curtain 8.30 pm at the parish hall in Via Valle d’Aosta, with the comedy “U picc” by the theater group of the Madonna di Pompei parish;

On the topic of the promotion and diffusion of the dialect as a local language, in the context of the April Fair, the city of Andria wishes to thank Professor Antonia Musaico Guglielmi, scholar and expert of Andria popular culture as well as of its language, who with passion and he has deepened his knowledge of science over the course of his career, so much so that he has become a point of reference for the entire Andria community in the transcription, custody and diffusion of popular culture.
The Municipal Administration wishes to confer the Andria excellence award to Professor Antonietta Musaico Guglielmi for all the precious research and study work of the local language and the traditions of the Andria people with scientific rigor and great passion, on Saturday 27 April, in the presence of the children of the professor.
This is the program: – 6.30 pm, Food Policy Hub, cloister of San Francesco, “From the recipe book: soil water” – Emotional recipe book of tradition; – 8.30 pm, Largo Bonghi, in the heart of our historic center, “Thank you, Professor Antonia Musaico Guglielmi”, recognition and awarding of the Andria excellence award to Professor Antonietta for the precious work donated to this city; – 9.00 pm, Largo Bonghi, “P nu pimm d frott” theatrical performance by Mariella Colasuonno and ALFA Teatro, theatrical journey on the rites and traditions of Andria folklore full of study and knowledge of what Professor Antonietta has lovingly delivered.
A section will be dedicated to Professor Musaico Guglielmi within the municipal library.
