The decision to remove the Montegrosso roundabout has been postponed until after May 7th

At the moment no one will remove the Montegrosso roundabout, located on provincial road n.2 which connects Andria to Canosa di Puglia. The decision is made by the company D’Oria of Andria, in charge of completing the road works on the important Bat artery, which in the late morning of Friday 26 April, sent this decision, made at outcome of what happened in the last few days and in order to avoid “unrest and/or even more serious situations”.

The choice follows the invitation made by the Prefect Rosanna Riflesso to “defer the removal operations of the roundabout” to a date after the next meeting of the parties involved, scheduled for 7 May.

And in the meantime, at the Circolo Coloni di Montegrosso, at 5 pm today, a meeting of the residents and those carrying out the activities of the village is planned, in which the latest developments of this delicate situation will be discussed, a meeting in which the participation of the Mayor Giovanna Bruno.

From what we learn of the matter, the activities of the rural village were affected by the residents and business owners, as well as the administrative judge and the ordinary judiciary, with a series of complaints and warnings which should now lead to consequential decisions.
