On the afternoon of 26 April 2024, the president of the Santa Margherita Neighborhood Committee met with the Councilor for Mobility of the Municipality of Salerno, accompanied by several residents, to discuss the critical issues of the neighborhood highlighted in the note previously sent to the mayor and to the Councilor himself on 20 April 2024.
During the inspection, conducted in the presence of the Councillor, various problems were examined, including the maintenance of the roads and the safety of the Playground in Via Buongiorno. It has been confirmed that the Playground is currently undergoing maintenance and safety work, with the expected reopening by next week.
The president of the Neighborhood Committee declared himself satisfied with the meeting with the Mobility Councilor, believing that it was an important step towards improving the conditions of the neighborhood. He expressed the hope that in the next few days citizens will be able to receive concrete answers to the requests raised during the inspection.
Among the requests made, there is the safety of the road surface of the streets of the neighborhood, the reconstruction of the horizontal and vertical signs and greater care of the city parks. These are just some of the challenges faced by the neighborhood, and the Committee is committed to continuing to work with the municipal administration to find effective solutions and improve the quality of life of residents.
The meeting represents an important step forward towards collaboration between the municipal administration and citizens, demonstrating the importance of dialogue and active participation in the management and optimization of public services at a local level.
