Giovanni Di Leo remains head of the Agrigento prosecutor’s office: this was established by the Lazio Regional Administrative Court, rejecting the appeal of the head of the Sciacca prosecutors, Roberta Buzzolani, who asked to overturn the CSM’s decision.
According to the administrative judges, the choice of the self-governing body of the robes to appoint Di Leo “was based on a not illogical global judgment on the personality of the chosen one, within which his broad and more varied judicial experience was appreciated (moreover , six years longer than that of the appellant)”.

The TAR writes: “Di Leo boasts experience both in the civil sector and (mainly) in the criminal sector, having carried out judging and prosecuting functions in first instance offices and at the Supreme Court of Cassation”.

The Sciacca prosecutor claimed to have more qualifications as he had completed a greater number of years of service as an investigating magistrate. “The CSM, with strengthened and entirely plausible motivation – writes the TAR -, decided to enhance the varied previous activity, the diversity of degrees in which
the latter carried out the functions, together with the results achieved over the course of his long career”.
