It’s eve for Pietro De Giorgio’s Potenza. Tomorrow at 6.30 pm the Lucanians will host Virtus Francavilla at the ‘Viviani’ on the last day of the regular season of group C. The rossoblù are playing for survival and remaining in the Lega Pro. The draw in Messina boosted morale but now it will serve last effort for the three points that would allow us to avoid the playouts. After a difficult season characterized by five changes on the bench, reaching safety would be a small consolation but would make the fans breathe a sigh of relief.
The Lucanian supporters themselves will respond once again. More than four thousand will color the ‘Viviani’ red and blue in the last and decisive match against Virtus Francavilla. There are five matches without a win for Potenza, who did not take home the three points from the Lucanian derby against Picerno. The shock and the new turnaround on the bench after the match against Foggia certainly bore fruit. In Messina there was a glimmer of hope and the point brought home is important. Now the last effort will be needed.

Mattia Rossetti’s prices are rising. The Avellino has found very little space but could join Caturano in attack in a 3-5-2. A heavy offensive pair to try to undermine the Apulian defense. He could be the move of desperation and, hopefully, salvation. The class of 1996 is in the run-off with Volpe and Di Grazia. In the middle of the field only confirmations for De Giorgio: Castorani, Candellori and Saporiti will start from the first minute, with Hadziosmanovic and Burgio on the lanes. Pace’s prices are falling. Defensive run-off, with Verrengia threatening Maddaloni to complete the unit made up of Armini and Sbraga. The usual Alastra in goal.
