The financial year ended 12/31/2023 reported a positive post-tax economic result of €763,075. All the main data are positive: production in fact increased by 520,090 euros (+2.1%) compared to the previous year, while costs decreased by 121,667 euros (-0.6%). Revenues from sales also increased (+ 7.2%) which went from 18,863,809 euros in 2022 to 20,228,497 euros.

In particular, the parking branch has registered a significant +9.7% (8,014,222 euros against 7,303,166 in 2022). The driving force for the sector was above all the Porte Contarine – Secret Garden car park which has worked at full capacity, but it should be noted that the important investments in technology have allowed greater rationalization of the operational processes of the parking sector, guaranteeing greater control and better use of resources: the process of dematerialisation of payments with POS, SMS and Applications for smartphones, finally, confirmed that offering users a wide range of tools would consequently lead to a lower evasion rate.

Despite the half-yearly forecasts, the Advertising sector it recovered in the second part of the year, closing with an encouraging +0.4% compared to 2022 which, moreover, had been able to count on the positive effects of the electoral campaign for the local elections. Confirming a continuously growing trend, the first quarter of 2024 still marks a positive result compared to the first quarter of 2023, both in terms of the parking management system and the sale of advertising spaces.

The data therefore represents confirmation of the goodness of the choices of the municipal administration and the company: new assignments of parking areas, new investments, digital transition of advertising systems, investments for the cremation service.

The ambition remains to always provide a more qualified and efficient service for citizens and become an important operational tool for the Municipality of Padua in view of the important challenges it will have to face.

The satisfaction expressed by the President of APS, lawyer Giuseppe Farina, and by the entire Board of Directors made up of lawyers Nicola Bettiato, Veronica Fioretto, Jacopo Tognon and professor Paola Valbonesi is therefore justified.
