Mister Lamberto Zauli spoke to our microphones in view of the last championship match against Avellino.
“Avellino is a difficult team, especially within friendly walls. In the last match, however, they demonstrated some shortcomings, especially when the opposing team raised the center of gravity, crushing them for more than half an hour in their area. What will be the tactical choices for put them in difficulty? Watching the match against Juve Stabia they had the opportunity to annoy him. There was a moment, however, when they also had difficulties at home, I consider them a strong team. We will try to play our game like we did in the first leg at home. I would like to see my team aware of its qualities and try to win the match.”
“Mister, if they had told you at the beginning of the season that the playoffs would only be won on the penultimate day, would you have believed it? At the beginning of the season, had you idealized a different Crotone than what you saw? There’s no need to go back until September, in January to the same question I would have told you that we would have ranked in the top four. Then everything that happened happened afterwards, we lost some points along the way and we were forced to get to the final days to win a playoff which until a week ago was not at all a given. From January onwards we complicated the situation, losing points did not allow us to take qualification for granted. Today we are in it, we have to look at the next matches. We will try to play an important match in Avellino that will give us points and push us towards the playoffs.”
