«This is a very important recognition given to a young Regional Councilor, in her first term, who genuinely embodies the path of renewal of politics and of the Party which, at a national level, initiated the election of Elly Schlein as National Secretary of the Democratic Party. A recognition that rewards our Territory and gives confidence to all those who continue to believe that politics can and must be carried out in the exclusive interest of citizens, putting the values of ethics and civil passion first. At the same time, I understand that this choice may not have been appreciated by those who opposed Elly Schlein’s candidacy and who, even today, not wanting to accept the results of the National Congress, continue to oppose the path of renewal started in the PD. However, sooner or later, he will have to come to terms with it: this path is irreversible!
