The ancient city of Ragusa is transformed into a large open-air ballroom, reviving the atmosphere of the late nineteenth century. It will be a weekend marked by the extraordinary, which, planned by the Ccn Antica Ibla and sponsored by the Municipality of Ragusa, will see the baroque palaces act as a backdrop to the initiative called “Dances of the 19th century” thanks to the companythehe international historical dance Harmonia Suave directed by Carla Favata. We start tomorrow, Saturday 27 April, at 5pm when the members of the company will move from Piazza Duomo to the Iblean Garden, at the entrance of which they will perform a first performance lasting just over half an hour. Immediately afterwards, the traveling procession will move to Piazza Pola. And, even in this case, there will be an exhibition to involve visitors and tourists as much as possible. Finally, the final moment will be held in Piazza Duomo, again this time with the aim of attracting as many people as possible. But it’s not enough. THEIn fact, the following day, starting from 11.30, the costumed company will be at the Iblean Garden to host an unprecedented initiative.
