Green Game, the “Multileggero” quiz took place in Campania

From 22 to 24 April, an interesting series of events focused on the theme of recycling was held in Battipaglia, promoted by Nappi South in collaboration with the National Consortia for the Recycling and Recovery of steel packaging (Recreate), aluminum (Cial) and plastic (Corepla). The main objective of this initiative was to raise awareness among the local community and encourage them to adopt more conscious practices regarding correct separate waste collection, in order to encourage the recycling of these materials.

During these three days, meetings and debates were held with students from primary and lower secondary schools from various locations, including Cicerale, Ogliastro Cilento, Rutino, Olevano sul Tusciano, Perito, Stella Cilento, Bellosguardo, Campagna, Castel San Lorenzo, San Cipriano Picentino, Giffoni six Casali, Moio della Civitella, Perdifumo and Torchiara.

At the end of each session, the young participants tested their knowledge by participating in the “Green Game Special Plastic-Metal Challenge“, an engaging quiz competition which allowed the winning class to obtain numerous prizes and gadgets made from recycled materials.

The events took place at the Nappi Sud headquarters, in a room specially set up for the occasion. Here, Alvin Crescinian expert trainer of the Supply Chain Consortia, entertained the students using the characteristic tools of the Green Game, a format that involves over 40,000 students throughout Italy every year.

“The Green Game is confirmed as a successful initiative”, jointly declared the Cial, Corepla and Ricrea Consortia. “The enthusiasm of the young participants excites us and fills us with pride. Every year we notice a growing interest among young people in the topics of sustainability and recycling, and this is the real objective of our work.”

“We believe in the new generations and their future role,” he said Caterina Bianco, Administrator of Nappi Sud. “We have been committed to raising awareness for years and I am pleased to see the involvement of the supply chain Consortia through the Green Game. I saw great interest from the young participants. We offered them many ideas to become aware citizens of the future.”
