Starting from Saturday 4 Maythe Asti Est Coordination will inaugurate a new housing assistance service at the premises of via Monti 60. The counter will be open every Saturday from 9 to 11 and every Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm throughout the month of May, offering support for anyone facing housing-related problems.
The initiative is aimed in particular at tenants of Public housing who are in arrears with payments to theAtc and who are experiencing economic difficulties. The Coordination wants to clarify that the goal is not to defend those who avoid payingbut rather support people and families with limited incomeswhich often cannot cover all the necessary expenses.
With an ISEE income limit set at 7,086.94 euros for the year 2024, many families find themselves excluded from public assistance by a minimal margin. The Asti Est Coordination is committed to working with these people to find solutions socially sustainable, reasonable And human.
The coordination underlines that the initiative is dedicated to the memory of Santina Stennardoa fervent advocate for housing justice who passed away on April 18, whose passion inspired action against innocent defaulters.
