The “Cavalieri Della Pergamena Bianca”, with their president Alfonso Salsano, thanks to the municipal administration of Salerno and the councilor Massimiliano Natella and the sponsor “Re d’Italia Art” present next May 1st at 10.30 am, on the seafront of Salerno, the parade of vintage carriages. It will not be a simple parade but a real Sef-Italia competition of elegance called “La belle époque Salernitana” a parade of vintage carriages and characters in late 19th and early 20th century costumes.
Among the participants there will be: Luigi Spatuzzi Milano, Sulky attached to a Lusitanian; Colonel Giovanni Travaglini, Naples, phaeton Murgese horse; Domenico Longobardi, Angri, American carriage attached to colored mule; Sorrentino Pasquale, Letters, Friesian horse spider carriage; Lucio Formisano, San Sebastiano al Vesuvio, Spanish horse phaeton carriage; Ferdinando Fontanella, Gragnano Napoli, gigh Friesian horse carriage; Giovanni Adinolfi, San Marzano Sul Sarno, American Friesian horse carriage; Gianpietruzzi Pasquale, Sant’Eramo In Colle, Grottillo farm, American Murgese horse; Fiorino Vito, Sant’Eramo In Colle, Portuguese horse carriage phaeton; Laera Matteo, Castellaneta, Bari, pair of murgesi phaeton; Luca Castellano, Sorrento, team of Spanish horses, mailord carriage; Arianna Salsano from Cava De’Tirreni, young riding instructor at the I Cavalieri Della Pergamena Bianca equestrian center with a team of Spanish Breck Shazz carriages presented by women only; Pietro Cianciulli, Sant’Eramo In Colle, four-way shot of Frisians breach shazz.
Judges Luigi Liguori, Nicola Boscarelli and Pasquale Pisani will be present to judge the presentation of the attacks, who will evaluate:
– The suitability of the clothes used for each carriage
– The right way to harness horses
– Cleanliness and attention to detail
– If the harness is appropriate for the harness and the carriage
– The posture of the coachman and the groom
– The conditions and restoration of the carriages
