TREVISO – 10 years of Treviso in Rosa and record attendance. The women’s event organized by sports clubs Trevisathletics And Corritrevisoin partnership with the Treviso section of LILTthe Italian League against Cancer, continues to be increasingly successful.
Sunday 5 May it’s the day of the 10th edition of Treviso in Pink, an achievement to be celebrated in style. Treviso in Rosa was born in 2015, almost by chance (that year a stage of the Giro d’Italia, the pink race par excellence, arrived in the city), and since then it has become a fixed spring event.
An event dedicated exclusively to women and capable of combining fun, sport and solidarity objectives in the best possible way. After calling back to go over 71 thousand women over eight editions in presenceTreviso in Rosa will return on the first Sunday of May to fill the city with smiles, applause and the desire to be together.
The numbers are mind-boggling: to date, there are no registered members 8.112 and the data is still partial because the collection of registrations will continue for another ten days, until to May 2nd. The prospect is to overcome, with momentum, quota 10,000.
Organized by sports clubs Trevisathletics And Corritrevisoin partnership with the Treviso section of LILTthe Italian League against cancer, Treviso in Rosa confirms itself as an event awaited not only by the women of Marca: the members, in fact, come from 14 regions And 25 provinces.
At the start of the event the flags of 22 countries around the world, the nations represented by the members. An event for all ages: there are also among the participants you are ninety-year-olds, 36 octogenarians and many young people. So young that in some cases the bib will be pinned to the stroller pushed by mothers and grandmothers and the pink t-shirt, too big to be worn, will remain a memory to be jealously guarded for years to come.
The presentation

“Treviso in Rosa best shares our message that prevention is living – added the vice president of the Treviso LILT, Nelly Mantovani –. After having contributed to the completion of the rehabilitation gym which is now functioning at full capacity at our headquarters in via Venzone, the proceeds from Treviso in Rosa this year will be directed towards the purchase of a vehicle for the transport of patients to places of treatment. A commitment that involves us a lot, just think that, in 2023 alone, our vehicles traveled 400 thousand kilometres, transporting 600 people”.

The Pink that forms a group
Treviso in Rosa is also the catwalk of many female realities who have chosen the event of May 5th for one group participation: to date, I am well 110 teams registered. The councilors Gloria Sernagiotto, Rosanna Vettoretti, Gloria Tessarolo And Maria Teresa De Gregorio they will lead the group #DonneFuoriDalComunerepresenting the Municipality of Treviso.
There is the LILT group, a platoon of almost 500 women. The Treviso Police Headquarters team led by the police commissioner Manuela De Bernardin. They signed up gyms, companies, parish groups, walking, yoga, pilates and zumba courses. There are groups of Ascom-Confcommercio he was born in Treviso Emergency Room and the department of Ca’ Foncello Geriatrics.
There are schools, like the institute Besta of Treviso, the Canossian institutethe Stefanini of Treviso and the Casteller di Paeseas well as a representation from the university Ca’ Foscari in Venice. There is the group of female journalists from Three antennas. Over one hundred women in the group “Walking is prevention”they will instead come from Marcon (Venice) thanks also to the commitment of the municipal administration.
Colosseum Dental Italy gave the Treviso in Rosa membership to a team of 41 employees from all over the Triveneto area. Speaking of companies: teams will also run and walk Tomasoni Cheesesof the group Vega MaxìOf Paladin wineryOf Labomar. Also noteworthy is the participation of Silvia Furlanithe 64-year-old runner from Friuli, who has been suffering from multiple sclerosis for 30 years, who brings her message of strength, optimism and resistance to the disease to races in every part of Italy.
Path
The departure of Treviso in pink will take place at 9.30 from viale Bartolomeo d’Alviano, at the foot of the Walls. The start will be unique, while the routes will be entirely mixed Old Town, there will be two. The distances will be 4 and 7 km. The route will touch the most evocative corners of the historic center: from Fishmonger to Piazza San Leonardofrom Piazza Duomo to Piazza dei Signorifrom Piazza San Vito to Riviera Santa Margherita.
The last stretch of the route will be above the walls. Finish line close to Bastion San Marco, where the final refreshment point will be located. Here the party will continue to the bitter end, animated by Radio Company deejay (official radio media partner of Treviso in Rosa 2024), from the Zumba Fitness lessons of Gloria Tasca and by the many exhibitors present in the event village.
I also dance in Borgo Cavourwhere you will have fun with the music and friendliness of Michele Patatti DJ. And then the colorful waders of the Barbamoccolo theater company and the imagination of BUB (BeFolky Hoopoe Band)a traveling street band made up of young musicians who share a passion for music and wind instruments.

Registrations for Treviso in Rosa will remain open until Thursday 2 Mayalso using the over 60 active collection points in four provinces (Treviso, Padua, Venice, Belluno) thanks to the availability of Maxì supermarkets and many other realities (bars, pharmacies, shops, gyms, newsstands). ABOUT TREVISO IN PINK
Treviso in Pink was born on the initiative of two sports clubs, Trevisathletics And Asd Corritrevisowho organized a running event on May 17, 2015, exclusively dedicated to womenon the occasion of the passage through the city of the Corsa Rosa par excellence, the Tour of Italy. The first edition of Treviso in Rosa was set up in less than a month and immediately met with great success.
Since then, Treviso in Rosa has become a fixed spring event. The second edition, in 2016involved over 4,500 women, triple the previous year. The third, in 2017has surpassed the 11,000 participants. Growth also continued in 2018when the members were registered over 16 thousand (16,314to be precise), and in 2019when memberships have reached share 17,543.
Treviso in Rosa has thus become the most attended exclusively female race in Italy. In 2020, due to the pandemic, the event took place only virtually. Treviso in Rosa then returned to the starting line, with an unprecedented summer location, on 11 July 2021. In 2023 the return to record numbers (10,218 registered). Since the inaugural edition, Treviso in Rosa has had the patronage of LILT Provincial section of Trevisoto which it allocates part of the proceeds by supporting a project presented by the association every year.
