A strong synergy that is consolidated. The Bisceglie Lions will be able to count on the support of the Biotec company for the final part of the 2023-2024 competitive season, with the Nerazzurri team involved in the Old Wild West National Serie B playout series which will see them opposed to Vicenza (game 1 and game 2 are in program at the PalaDolmen respectively on Monday 29 April and Wednesday 1 May with free entry to the stands).

The Molfetta company, already a premium partner of the club, will be the main sponsor of the team, which will therefore take on the name “Biotec Bisceglie”.

Biotech was founded at the end of the 90s on the initiative of a group of researchers and technicians with the aim of promoting, developing, coordinating and implementing, in compliance with current regulations, effective and innovative solutions in the water treatment sector: both industrial and civil wastewater. To date, thanks to constant attention to the development of innovative solutions and market demands, the company has developed the ability to design, produce, implement and install systems for the disinfection of primary and waste water using innovative technologies based on UV rays.

In the Italian market Biotech is a leader counting among its customers Acquedotto Pugliese SpA, Arsenale Militare di Taranto, Acea, Etra S.pA, Iren Emilia SPA, Gran Sasso Acque, AmiAcque SpA, Tasm SpA, Base Nato di Sigonella, and is rapidly expanding towards the market abroad with clients such as the Ministry of the Environment of Albania, the Water Authority of the Kingdom of Jordan, the Ministry of the Environment of Portugal. Biotec designs, produces and markets machines for the treatment of primary and waste water.

The Lions management, expressing gratitude and recognition towards the Biotec top management for having chosen to strengthen support for the Bisceglie basketball movement at this moment, underlines the invitation already addressed to the entire local community to rally around the boys of coach Agostino Origlio and participate massively in the stands of the PalaDolmen in the first two playout matches to encourage the Nerazzurri team and push them to secure salvation in the third Italian basketball tournament, maintaining a precious important position that contributes to the growth of all of Apulian basketball.
