PESCARA. Tomorrow at 8.40pm fourth appointment with the PHF.1/Poetry House Festival. Guests are the poets Giulia Madonna and Sandra De Felice. The PHF.1, sponsored by the Municipality of Pescara, wants to trigger a reflection on poetry and on increasingly rare listening spaces. Artistic direction Beniamino Cardines, cultural promotion Annarita Pasquinelli. The festival is held in the living room of Pasquinelli’s home (via Nicola Fabrizi 14, free entry with reservation), through an organizational network that sees literature and poetry as a promoter of values and sociality. Giulia Madonna, poet: «I never feel whole, never intact, always in very small pieces inside and out. Poetry is my voice, my wounds, my tears, my joy. I am a woman who lives and always looks ahead. I don’t give up, despite the many obstacles and thousand difficulties in life. I continue to love every single moment. Love is part of me.”
Sandra De Felice, poet: «Poetry tells the story of life, few words to express worlds of emotions, our interiority but also the deafening beauty that surrounds us and that too often we fail to see. In my life, poetry is like a still image that allows me to capture in words and verses everything that I otherwise would not be able to retain.”
