Starting from the laying of laurel wreaths at the Copparo cemetery, the celebrations for the Liberation took place in Ponte San Pietro, Cesta, Coccanile, Ambrogio, Gradizza, Sabbioncello San Vittore and San Pietro, Fossalta, Tamara and Saletta where the authorities paid homage to the gravestones and monuments of the fallen. The ceremony then continued in Copparo: at the cippus of Ricci Alberti, a monument to the Resistance, at the monuments dedicated to the Foibe, at the Marina Park, at Moses Tomasatti and at the headstones of the Community House and the bell tower. The morning then continued in the name of Alda Costa, at the civic gallery that bears her name and which is located in the places where the prisons where the teacher and anti-fascist political activist was once held. For the 80th anniversary of her passing, a plaque was unveiled (photo above): “Tell – the phrase – to my companions that I remained faithful to my ideal”.
