Tourism and holidays in baroque land. In the holiday weekends between April 25th and May 1st there is also Ragusa among the most requested destinations by Italians. Our city plays a central role in Sicily in the travel preferences of Italians, as confirmed by the ranking developed by Holidu, a booking portal for holiday homes and apartments.

First of all, the strong predominance of Italian locations over foreign ones is evident, with 22 Italian destinations among the top 30. Among foreign destinations, Barcelona and Paris emerge, ranking in first and second place respectively.

The other international destinations most loved by Italians include Palma de Mallorca, Benidorm, Valencia, Malaga, New York and Marrakech.

Among the most popular Italian locations, Rome ranks third, followed by Naples and Palermo. Sicily, represented by Ragusa (in particular Marina di Ragusa) and Trapani, 11th and 12th respectively in the ranking, is confirmed as one of the most sought-after destinations for this bridge. Good turnout also at Donnafugata Castle, as evidenced by the photo taken today by a tourist and sent to our editorial staff.

In terms of average cost per person per night, New York is confirmed as the most expensive destination, followed by Paris and Barcelona. However, there are many more accessible destinations, with rates under 100 euros per night, including Trapani, the cheapest destination in the top 30.
