A prestigious contest in which the Marche fish excellences even had the honor of opening the first day and it was the Sambenedettese brodetto that was promoted together with various Picene excellences.

Also welcoming 90 guests including institutions and companies of excellence at the fair was the Minister of Agriculture Francesco Lollobrigida who praised the promotional work of the Marche and the partnership with the ministry for the support offered to the candidacy of Italian cuisine as a UNESCO heritage site . Marco Bruschini, director of the company for Internationalization of the Marche Region, was also satisfied. «This initiative – he said – which is the first to promote the Marche destination based on the new flight that will connect Barcelona with Ancona from next November, highlights what the Marche can offer to the Spanish market: everything the tourist can ask for, therefore, culture, history, traditions and well-being.”

There was a large audience of those present at the event: in addition to the minister, there was also the consul general Emanuele Manzitti; for the Chamber of Barcelona the general secretary Federica Falzetta and for the Marche Region Andrea Maria Antonini, regional councilor for productive activities with the regional councilor Andrea Assenti, the deputy president of the Confesercenti delle Marche Antonia Fanesi and the director Elena Capriotti.

A surprise thank you during the final day of the trade fair was given to the two chefs who attended: Priscilla Alessandra Husson, restaurateur from San Benedetto from Tatuscia and chef Alessandro Camillo D’Addazio, consultant for the food industry who received the free Masaf plaque for Italian cuisine on international markets.
