Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina also wins at Emma Villas Siena and thus secures promotion to the SuperLega. The Marche team, thanks to the sharp performances of Fedrizzi (16 points) but above all of Nielsen, top scorer of the evening thanks to 24 winning points, thus found direct promotion to the SuperLega, winning within the walls of Siena 3-1. Ortenzi’s team, after starting in the lead, suffered Siena’s comeback, while the third and fourth sets saw the Marche team overcome the resistance of the Siena team. Not just promotion to the Super League though, because Grottazzolina, by triumphing in the Serie A2 championship, also earns the right to play Del Monte within friendly walls® Serie A2 Super Cup against the team that will triumph at the end of the Italian Cup Final Four scheduled in Cuneo on 11 and 12 May. The Serie A2 championship, however, does not end here, as Del Monte will conclude in May® Italian A2 Cup. Over the weekend, in fact, Consoli Sferc Brescia and Conad Reggio Emilia will take to the field for Game 3 of the Italian Cup round of 16. The Quarter Finals are scheduled for Wednesday 1 May, with Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina and Emma Villas Siena among the protagonists.

Play Off Serie A2 Credem Banca – The formula
The top 7 teams at the end of the Serie A2 Regular Season participate. The first place goes directly to the Semi-finals, the teams from 2nd to 7th place compete in the Quarter-finals. The club that wins the Play Off will be promoted to the 2024/2025 Super League. All the Quarter Finals, Semifinals and Finals are played with the formula of 2 games won out of 3. The first match and any play-off are played at the home of the team with the best ranking at the end of the Regular Season.

Italian Cup Serie A2
Del Monte ® The A2 Italian Cup will be played once the Regular Season is over, and the 12 Serie A2 teams will participate (all with the exception of the two that will be relegated to Serie A3). It will be played in parallel with the Play Offs valid for promotion to the SuperLega Credem Banca. The five teams that finished from 8th to 12th place in the season, together with the three eliminated in the Play Off Quarter Final series, will play in the Round of 16, with the “two wins out of three” formula (14, 21, 28 April 2024). The four Clubs that pass the round will be paired in the Quarter Finals with the four Semifinalists of the Play Offs: two matches and the possible Golden Set (1, 5 May) will thus decide the four participants in the Final Four in Cuneo (11, 12 May) .
