The Lamezia team reconfirms most of its players

Led by captain Fabrizio Viola (3.3), the group is made up of Maik Steiner (2.4 – 875 ATP), Francisco Sinopoli (2.6 – 187 ITF), Guillermo Carry (2.8 – already 429 ATP), Yannick Yankovits (2.7 – already 226 ATP ), Luca Margaroli (2.8 – already 692 ATP), Marco Milano (4.5), Niels Lootsma (already 423 ATP) and from the under 18s Alessandro Laino (2.7) and Osvaldo Iera (4.1).

These are the words of Captain Fabrizio Viola:«After a particular and difficult period to manage, we aim to do the best we can. Our goal is survival, the opponents are ambitious and I’m sure it will be a good championship.
The team is compact and the new additions, the French Yankovits and the Dutch Lootsma, will make the group grow. We will try to enhance the young Laino who will certainly provide important support to the team. The teams that “Riccardo Viola Tennis & Sports” will compete against are all solid and “fierce” opponents».

CT Corsano (LE) will be the first opponent, on Sunday 19 May Viola Tennis will host CT Barletta on the synthetic courts of Marinella. The following week it will be the turn of STC Bisceglie 2.0 (BT), to then continue away to San Benedetto del Tronto (AP) against CT Maggioni.

The last two days will be played at home, on 9 June TC Napoli will arrive and on the 16th of the same month the championship will end against “Mediterraneo – Terre Segrete” of Catania.

It will be another season of great tennis in Lamezia.
