Beach services, assignments started – Teramo

GIULIANOVA. Calls for beaches are underway, including those for dogs and disabled people. The Municipality of Giulianova has announced the opening of the tender for the sub-concession of the Helios bathing establishment for the 2024 summer season. The aim is to provide heliotherapy treatments to users with certified disabilities; for these reasons, the plant is sub-contracted for these purposes only. The notice and the application form can be downloaded on the Municipality’s institutional website. Applications must be submitted exclusively by certified email (PEC) to the municipal protocol office by 12pm on 29 April 2024.
The assignment for the temporary management of the seven free beaches not under concession for the year 2024 has also begun. The management resolution states that the Municipality reserves the right to entrust the temporary management of seven beaches to individual or associated operators who request it within 15 days from the date of publication of the public notice; the institution also reserves the right to entrust the temporary management of beaches intended for “Public utility tourist service areas” between the Tam Tam campsite and free beach no. 1, between the Costa Verde establishment and the Smeraldo lido, between the Portofino chalet and the Blu relax lido, which will be intended for associations or marine colonies for seaside activities, or for associations linked to water sports and which provide boat rental or hauling services .
Finally, the Municipality has also published the tender for the assignment of the beach dedicated to pets for one year. The contractor will have to establish a security service to guarantee the safety and protection of bathers, ensure the cleanliness, hygiene and decorum of the stretches of beach, install toilets and showers. The assignment will be made to the operator who has already gained experience in this type of activity: it could therefore be Giusy Branellaveterinarian and president of Unica beach, to win the tender.
