More than eleven years after its first edition, the book “Fascism in Cremona and its province. 1922–[1945”, by Giuseppe Azzoni (with the addition of some specific contributions), is absolutely unobtainable. Since it retains its relevance intact, we decided to reprint it.
This is an overall examination of the period, taking into account past studies and new research. “Fascism in Cremona and its province” is based on archival research, documents and testimonies of the time, starting from the origins of fascism.
In addition to Azzoni’s valuable work, several interesting direct testimonies and monographic contributions on specific topics and particularly relevant territorial realities are reported.
A work, therefore, which remains the basis of future studies and which deserves to be in the homes of all those who believe in the values of anti-fascism and the Constitution, of those values of justice and freedom which can only be achieved by knowing the past. be valid in the present and serve for a better future.
