BRIVIDO CAFE’ WITH AFTERTASTE: Monica Gasparini presents “The chimes of evil”

The series of noir author readings included in the program called BRIVIDO CAFE’ CON RETROGUSTO, will make their appearance on Sunday 28 April at 6.45 pm at the premises of the Enoteca Retrogusto, in via Santa Maria di Castello 7 in Alessandria and they really want combine culture, flavors and well-being for the spirit, body and mind.

“The Chimes of Evil” is a crime novel narrated in the first person by the female protagonist, Anastasia, a young provincial journalist with a passion for crime and judicial news, and the belief that any form of compensation for the victims and their families start from the truth of the facts.
She is a courageous reporter, with a series of traumas related to the violent death of her parents.
To investigative tenacity, he combines the sensitivity to perceive imminent critical situations through an openness towards the unknown that manifests itself during dream activity.
The novel is set in Alexandria where, on New Year’s Eve, the mayor and his wife were barbarically killed.
Is the case isolated? Or is it a serial mind that acts?
The plot is adrenaline-filled, with investigative twists and turns that see the young journalist at the forefront in a frantic search for the truth that will manifest itself in Palazzo Rosso, in the heart of the city’s administrative life.
The protagonist accompanies the reader towards the resolution of the case.
The novel is the first in a literary series made up of self-contained stories.
Monica Gasparini, born in Alessandria on 10 September 1966, lives in Cuccaro, in Monferrato.
He has worked in the information sector since the age of twenty, first as a television reporter for Telecity, then for Primantenna, and then moved – in 1993 – to the editorial staff of the newspaper “Il Piccolo” of Alessandria, where he is currently responsible for the News sector .
She specializes in investigative journalism, with a particular inclination for environmental protection activities.
