This information booklet arises from the need to raise public awareness of the phenomenon of road accidents, which is also the result of our institutional skills in protecting road safety, accessibility, environmental protection and mobility in general. We need to make people understand the meaning of respect for the rules of the Highway Code to make people understand that safety on the road is good for everyone and everyone on the road must be respected: starting with the most vulnerable such as the disabled and pedestrians.”

The President of ACI L’Aquila added that “another important service, available from May, will be the one reserved for vulnerable users who will have an interpreter specialized in LIS – the sign language – at their disposal: an important and fundamental with regards to social inclusion, intended for deaf people, who, with the aid of video communication and the Evoluzione Lis call center, will be able to communicate with our offices without any obstacles. Another initiative will be the Safety Driving courses for over 1,000 students of the School of Inspectors and Superintendents of the Guardia di Finanza, in collaboration with ACI Ready2Go, to train them and raise their awareness on the main issues of road education and safety.”
