The Piacenza Asparagus Festival returns to Parco Raggio di Pontenure, now in its 15th edition, the third in the Asparagus in the Park version. The consolidated event will host on Sunday 5 May, from 10.30 to 19.30, a market exhibition of living in sustainable harmony with numerous exhibitors of vegetable and garden products and creative crafts, as well as Food Trucks and various moments of entertainment for the visitors.
In the morning there will be a ribbon cutting with the Authorities and the opening of the exhibition stands of flavors and traditions of our land, the performance of the Corpo Musicale Isacco Del Val – Pegorini and the Twirling Majorettes Le Fenici Group, the inauguration of the Museum Interactive and the Francigeno Room on the top floor of Villa Raggio with the possibility of guided tours, a singing performance by the children of the Peter Pan nursery school and the award ceremony for the Emeritus Citizens of Pontenure. From 12:00 Show Cooking by the Ardizzina Agricultural Company which will present the creation of the asparagus risotto, followed by the Mil Sabores Ice Cream Pasticceria with the presentation of the exclusive asparagus ice cream. At 12.30 you can have lunch in Parco Raggio choosing from the various menus offered by the Food Trucks present.
Following this, in the afternoon, there will be creative workshops for children, a street art show by Funtasia and a performance by children and young people from Omy Academy. From 5.30pm the grand finale begins with the musical show by the Isacco Big Band and the possibility of enjoying an aperitif in the Park.
