Today, free access day in the Museums of Italy, at Palace in Caserta, 12,286 entries were recorded, over a thousand more than on 25 April last year. The Caserta monument is in fourth place in the top ten of those most visited in Italy.
In the ranking released by the Ministry of Culture, the Colosseum (23,830 visitors), the archaeological area of Pompeii (22,048) and the Pantheon (15,803) come first.
