ROVIGO – First moment of truth for FemiCz Rovigo, reigning Italian champions. Mogliano arrives on Sunday 28 April at 4pm at the Mario Battaglini stadium in Rovigo, for the first playoff match. Already 1200 season tickets have been sold for the two scheduled challengesthe second will be with the Petrarca Padua on 5 or 12 May. The rules stipulate that the loser of the first match will challenge the tuttineri on the first Sunday of May.
Coach Ale Lodi has recovered the hookers Pippo Cadorini and Enrico Giulian, Bersaglieri’s structure which should not change much compared to the last season’s outings, clearly taking injuries into account. Dogliani at the opener in place of Atkins, an obvious choicebut the options aren’t many even in the other departments, so there will hardly be any surprises.
Manuel Bottino from Rome will be the referee of the match, linesmen Filippo Russo (Treviso) and Filippo Bertelli (Brescia), Tmo entrusted to Stefano Pennè.
At Zaffanella, Saturday 27 April at 4.30 pm the first playoff semi-final of the other group between Viadana and the Colorno of Casellato and Frati. The race will be directed by Angelucci from Livorno.
