The president of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon chose to stay at the Grand hotel Principe di Piemonte in Viareggio for his stop in Italy. In fact, for days the 5-star luxury hotel has remained ‘locked down’ to guarantee maximum protection and confidentiality for the Head of State who booked the entire structure, selected for the occasion after viewing two others in Florence. The head of state (leading Tajikistan for almost 30 years and in office until 2027) he arrived together with a delegation of authorities from his country: a total of around 50 people – all men. stay in the two floors of the hotel on the seafront. It was reserved for Rahmon a luxurious 150 square meter suite with sea view and typical Italian style.
The Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte made the entire team available to welcome the authority of Tajikistan and its staff: the 2 Michelin star kitchen remained active 24 hours a day exclusively, with a continuous dialogue between Emomali Rahmon’s personal chef (who expressed words of praise for the food experience and the quality of the products) and the Prince’s executive, Giuseppe Mancino. Strictly fish menu (the entire delegation is Muslim) and a catering specifically designed for the return trip by private jet scheduled for Friday 26th.
Furthermore, in recent days President Rahmon was received at the Quirinale by the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella and by the Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, at Palazzo Chigi, as well as having visited some of the companies of excellence in Italy.
