The architect from Agrigento had accused the former secretary general of the Sicilian Region of many atrocities. All false. # Monterosso denounced Tuzzolino relying on the lawyer Roberto Mangano. # “It appears fully proven, from the testimony of the witnesses and from the extreme contradictory nature of Tuzzolino’s statements – the judges write – that the latter falsely accused Monterosso of various crimes, with the knowledge of his innocence”.
“It is not sustainable that Tuzzolino knew what was reported only because it was communicated to him by third parties – we read in another passage of the motivation – both because the subjects he cited as sources denied this version, and because Tuzzolino had never expressed himself in such terms. # It is therefore likely that the latter supported this further version only for the purpose of supporting the possibility of an error or misunderstanding. # # # # # #
