Claudio Nassi, former sporting director of Sampdoria, spoke about the deals with Como from which he took #Vierchowod, Fusi and Moreno Mannini
There will be Saturday 27 April Sampdoria-Como, a challenge that confronts two companies, at the moment, with different objectives, but which have collaborated on the market in the past. # The Lombards were, in the first period of Paolo Mantovani president, of the Blucerchiati’s allies, despite being, as he claims Claudio Nassi, a very expensive shop.
The former sporting director of Sampdoria, at Secolo XIX, spoke about the business with the Como players, which was also born thanks to the presence, in How, by Mino Favini:
Mantovani wanted to win. # But we couldn’t take Tardelli or Cabrini. # And #so #I was looking for the best Italian talents in B and C. And the head of the Como youth sector was a man #I respected very much, Mino Favini.
Sampdoria, Nassi: also Fusi and Mannini from Como
# Sampdoria, Claudio Nassi: Como dear #shop. # So #I took Vierchowod

The How it was a hotbed of talent, like the great one Pietro #Vierchowod, which Nassi saw for the first time when he worked at the Pistoia in 1976:
When #I worked in Pistoia #I saw him against Como in 1976 in a tournament in Lazio. # Notaries Matteoli. # And then he, Peter, a beastly power. # And #I thought: “one day #I would like him with me, he is one of the strongest defenders #I have ever seen”.
A long and, above all, expensive negotiation:
When #I arrived at Sampdoria #I decided to try. # A sporting director friend of mine, Cecco Lamberti, had arrived in Como and #I asked him for the Tsar. # But he warned me: “Beltrami wants him at Inter, they give us 600 million plus half of Centi.” # Como asked us for one billion and 300 million and to leave #Vierchowod in Como otherwise Marchioro, who had brought them to Serie A, would have left. # Como was a very expensive shop.
And then many other things. # In 1983 the purchase of Roberto Galia, so Sampdoria overcame the competition Juventus. And then again Fusi And Moreno Mannini:
Fusi was strong but Samp already had Pari in midfield and Pellegrini as libero. # #I told Mantovani, if he wants, take him but before him buy Moreno Mannini. # He took Fusi by paying him two billion, leaving him there for a couple of years. # And he made an incredible exchange: Guerrini to Como , Mannini to Sampdoria, for zero. # #I showered him with compliments: “He has signed a very strong, complete defender, an exceptional deal”.
Until arriving, in 1989, at Giovanni Invernizzi. AND Matteoli, taken, in 1985 who, unfortunately, had more luck at Inter than Giovanni Trapattoni’s records.
