4 hours of strike, from 11.30am to 3.30pm for urban, suburban and extra-urban buses. This is what will be held on Friday 26 April for the protest called by the territorial secretariats of Bologna and Ferrara of the trade union organizations FILT-CGIL, FIT-CISL, UIL-UILT, FAISA-CISAL and UGL-FNA
Joining the regional strike of workers in the sector to protest “against the situation in which local public transport finds itself: exhausting shifts, effectively compulsory overtime, extreme flexibility which now – explain the unions – endemically characterizes the activity of drivers, resulting in the impossibility of adequately and sustainably reconciling life and work times”.
The unions are calling for the renewal of the national contract and company contracts: “it is now the only solution to give credible answers and make the sector more attractive also for new hires – they explain in a note – reiterating how the public service is essential and strategic for local communities.

Meanwhile, Tper announces that on Friday 26 April, only some journeys will be guaranteed before the strike: in Ferrara, only journeys from the peripheral, central and intermediate terminals will leave until 11.15am
During the strike, an operator will be available at the telephone call center. The staff of the “Marconi Express” service will also be involved in the strike. The Company will take measures to ensure the rapid restoration of service once the strike is over.
