On Wednesday 24 April 2024 in the Alberto Silvestri room of the Department of Economics of the University of Trento, the general assembly of the BIM Adige Trento Consortium approved the 2023 management report with flying colors.

the management of the 2023 financial year ends with the following outcomes: ascertained resources €67,962,287.31 of which €61,429,878.27 collected and committed expenses €67,704,753.24 of which €64,411,686.08 paid. The administrative result is equal to €11,066,777.51 (of which 7,229.66 shares set aside for TFR). A budget, the one approved, which sees over 55 million euros of “revolving shares” linked to the role of the consortium as leader of the “common fund for BIM of the Adige” and to the participation in the management of the added fees. the representation of the aggregate data presented constituting the report shows a solid consortium with a stable balance and management.

With a break-even between revenue and expenses of €70,363,269.00 and an administrative result of €11,066,777.51. A budget, the one approved, which sees over 55 million euros of “revolving shares” linked to the Consortium’s role as leader of the “Adige BIM common fund” and to the participation in the management of the added fees. The representation of the aggregate data presented constituting the report shows a solid Consortium with a stable balance and management.

“2023 is certainly the year of strengthening the Consortium’s commitment to the Municipalities. I deliberately start from the Municipalities for a simple reason: all the choices of this Board are based on a priority attention to the territory and to you Municipalities”; this is the beginning of the report by the President of the Consortium, Michele Bontempelli, who presented the main results achieved by the Consortium to the Assembly.

Starting from the resources guaranteed to the Municipalities, the President focused on the projects that involved the Consortium in 2023: from the SOVA project, now a consolidated synergy with the Province, to the “photovoltaic for families” project up to the new “stove project”, expression of a new synergy between local Bim and the Province. The President underlined that “these experiences are making us understand something fundamental: BIMs are important for Municipalities and can strengthen their contribution to the territory by opening up to the territory itself, while maintaining its own identity. Looking at that “proactive and autonomous approach” that we have explained in our vision is the key to strengthening the identity of our Consortium. “

Of particular interest for the consortium municipalities was the theme of the “water incentive”, a characterizing element of the 2024 extraordinary plan. The Consortium, acting as the bearer of requests from the municipalities themselves, will make over 5 million euros available to its municipalities for efficiency measures of the local water network. This is a commitment strongly supported by the entire Board of Directors and which the Consortium hopes will be a signal, albeit small and limited, to stimulate the territorial system to further reflect on the topic.

The President then focused on the topic of CER – renewable energy communities – which with the publication at the end of 2023 of the MASE implementing decree and the opening of the PNNR-GSE tender a few days ago is finally taking on a concrete and interesting structure for the territory represented by the Consortium. An opportunity, as the President defined it, which “brings with it tangible elements of innovation, which must not be overlooked, but also complexity. As a Consortium we will try to be as close to you as possible, guaranteeing the necessary support.”

A reflection on the methods and times of use of the resources made available to the Municipalities then closed the Assembly.
