The phone used by the 14-year-old, according to her during the call she made, had no SIM card, which is why she could only make emergency calls. The operators then held a conversation with the girl until the arrival of a patrol from the Milan Porta Garibaldi Polfer who, having tracked her down on the stairs of platform 2, then accompanied her to their offices. The police immediately contacted her mother in Novara and, an hour later, her daughter was entrusted to return home.
