L’AQUILA – The anticipation is growing frantic for the match on Sunday at 3.30 pm at the Tommaso Fattori stadium in L’Aquila, between Rugby L’Aquila and Us Roma, valid for the Serie B group 4 championship. To the black and green team of the head coach Emanuele Lo Greco, leaders with 86 points, even a draw, or two points, is enough to win promotion to Serie A, early in the penultimate championship match. An extraordinary result, for a team born in August 2021, starting from Serie C and then constantly rising.
Us Roma is the one chasing, second in the standings with 74 points, who however have to recover a match, and are therefore mathematically still in the running.
In the meantime, more than 1,000 tickets have already been sold, for the distinguished ones and for the grandstand, in the second case with the hospitality service included.
Contacted by Abruzzoweb, the president Mauro Scopanodirector of Aterno Gas & Power sounds the charge, but urges caution.

After the beautiful victory in Catania, a match that was not at all easy, the team is focused and excited. We are all aware that we are truly one step away from reaping the fruits of important work, carried out with tenacity, sacrifice and determination, concluding in the best possible way a season lived to the fullest. Furthermore, the growth that has taken place for our players is evident, both from an individual and group point of view. The possibility of celebrating the promotion in front of our audience, at the Tommaso Fattori stadium, excites us and gives us an edge.”
