Opta statistics

Inter have won eight of their last nine matches against Torino in the league (N1) and have kept a clean sheet in the most recent three – the Nerazzurri could record four clean sheets in a row against the Granata in Serie A for the first time since the period between 2001 and 2003.

Inter have won all of their last four matches at the Meazza against Torino in the league, only once have the Nerazzurri achieved more home successes in a row against the Granata in Serie A: seven between 1969 and 1976.

Inter won the Scudetto with five rounds to spare: equaling the record in the history of Serie A of Napoli 2022/23, Juventus 2018/19, Inter 2006/07, Fiorentina 1955/56 and Torino 1947 /48; in particular, the Nerazzurri are the only ones in the history of the competition to have achieved this twice.

Inter have remained unbeaten in their last 27 league matches (W22, D5), only twice in their history in Serie A have they recorded more matches in a row without defeat: 31 between April 2007 and February 2008 and 33 between May 2006 and April 2007.

Inter have drawn two of their last three home league games (W1), as many as in the previous 48 (W38, D2, L8) – the Nerazzurri could get two home draws in a row in Serie A for the first time since the period between September and October 2021.

Challenge between the two teams that have recorded the highest number of clean sheets in this championship: Inter (19) and Torino (17); only in 1988/89 did the Nerazzurri keep more clean sheets in a single Serie A season (20) – on the other hand only three times did the Granata do better (18 in 1991/92, 18 in 1979/80 and 19 in 1976/77).

Torino is the team that has drawn the most matches with a score of 0-0 this season in the top five European championships (eight), only twice have the Granata had more in a single tournament (10 in 1966/67 and 11 in 1963/64). More generally, the last Serie A club to record more goalless draws in a single championship was Cagliari in 2011/12 (nine).

Inter (six) and Torino (seven) are the two teams that have conceded the fewest first-half goals this season in Europe’s top five leagues.

Lautaro Martínez, scorer of 9 goals in home games and 14 away goals, could become only the third Inter player to reach double figures in goals both at home and away in a single Serie A season since 2000 to date, after Mauro Icardi in 2017/18 (16+13) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in 2008/09 (13+12).

Among goalkeepers with more than 10 appearances in this championship, Yann Sommer (79.1%) and Vanja Milinkovic-Savic (77.3%) are two of the three extreme defenders, together with Michele Di Gregorio (78.7%), with the highest percentage of saves.
