Despite the physical difficulties that accompanied him since he was a boy, he spent his life serving the community that gathered around the Chapel of Santa Maria della Neve, but until a few years ago also in San Giovanni a Caso and before that in Santa Mary of Mercy.
Don Luigi always amazed us with his tenacity and above all with his great willpower which surpassed every human limit. Thank you Don Luigi for all the love you were able to give to us Massa people and for your attachment to the religious traditions of our land. We will miss seeing each other again at your house on the occasion of the feast of Padre Pio where you called everyone to gather at Villarca in front of the statue that you wanted to donate out of devotion to the community. We are sure that from up there you will not forget us, just as we will not forget your strength and your generous passion.”
