A goal ten minutes from the end scored by Zazzeroni gives Lunano three precious points against Pesaro football last night at the “Benelli” where the remaining 70 minutes of the match suspended due to the referee’s injury last week were played. There are two days left until the end of the championship and if Lunano beats Maior on Sunday, they will be promoted to Promotion. Avis Montecalvo, second in the rankings, will face Audax Piobbico away on Saturday who are only one point above the playout threshold; on the last day Avis will greet their fans in the match against Peglio. The second-placed team will participate in the playoffs only in the second phase. The fourth team will not compete in the playoffs (currently there is Osteria Nuova) because the gap between second and fifth position is 9 points higher. As regards the lower zone, Santa Veneranda is last with 21 points and in order to regain a place in the play-offs they must aim to win the two matches (the first at home against Pesaro Calcio and the second away to Osteria Nuova) and hope in some setbacks of the opponents who precede her in the standings (Maior and Usav Pisaurum are on 26). Also in the playout area are Vadese (27 points) and Mercatellese (28).
Among the victories of the last round, the one of Athletico Tavullia in Montecalvo should be highlighted, a success achieved entirely in the first half thanks to Morelli’s goals and a brace from striker Giacomelli. External success also for Nuova Real Metauro (0-1) on the pitch of Vadese and San Costanzo in Mercatello sul Metauro. At home, Real Altofoglia (against Pesaro) and Usav Pisaurum against S.Veneranda won, the latter having the record for goals conceded (61). The defense that has suffered the least is that of Tavullia (20).
