Only the first team players are decreasing

Analyzing the Granada budget there is one piece of data that catches the eye and concerns a significant increase in staff. As of 31 December 2022 there were in fact 172 players, technical staff and various managers of the first team and youth sector. The figure grew by thirty units, reaching 202 as of 31 December 2023.

First team: one player less

The figure relating to first team players has remained almost unchanged: 27 a year ago, 26 at the time of the closing of the last balance sheet. However, the figure relating to the technical staff of the first team is in balance, at 14 people in 2023 as it was on 31 December 2022. The increase in staff must therefore be sought outside of the players and technical staff of the first team.

Nursery, what growth: +17 in technical staff

The increase in staff in the youth sector is notable, starting with the players: 27 against 20 in 2022. Even more important is the step forward regarding the technical staff of the youth sector, which has grown considerably. As of 31 December 2022 there were 85, the number has increased to 102. Finally, the number of employees who do not draw on football in the strict sense has also increased: a year ago there were 26, as of 31 December 2023 there were 33.
