In compliance with the rights of the person under investigation and the presumption of innocence, as far as is currently known, subject to further investigation and pending judgement, the following is communicated:
The State Police arrested a 55-year-old man in flagrante delicto for the hypothesis of the crime of possession for the purpose of dealing narcotic substances. As part of the services aimed at repressing drug dealing, the investigators of the Falchi Section of the Flying Squad, yesterday morning, carried out a surprise raid on an apartment located in the Monte Urpinu area. Inside the house used by the man, State Police operators found approximately 650 grams of hashish, 50 of which were already packaged in a block and the remainder were being processed. In particular, in the house there was the raw substance contained in a bag and a box, consisting of marijuana in the processing phase, the processing of which was carried out with various tools including a scale, a blender, an electric sieve and a sophisticated hydraulic press. All the material found was seized, together with the sum of 295 euros, considered to be a summary of the criminal activity. At the end of the duties, the suspect was accompanied to his home under house arrest, awaiting immediate judgement.
