For the choice of films – until 21 May, 8.30 pm, at the Massimo cinema in Pescara – Assca draws on the repertoire of the CinemAmbiente Festival of Turin, thanks to the collaboration of Alberta Maranzano, head of the Cinema section of Assca, with the Turin organisation. And this 2nd Pescara edition of Cinema for the Environment is dedicated to the founder and director of the Turin Festival, Gaetano Capizzi, who recently passed away. The first proposal is the film “The letter: a message for our earth”, dedicated to the Encyclical Letter Laudato Sì by Pope Francis, which raises the issue of human irresponsibility in the management of resources, which has repercussions on every single inhabitant of the world. At the dialogue with the Pontiff a young Senegalese refugee, an Indian leader from the Amazon, an Indian activist, a couple of American scientists.
