CREMONA – After the record obtained last year, Padania Acque confirms itself as a top performer for the technical quality of the integrated water service, placing itself in second place in the general ranking of Italian operators of excellence as part of the conference ‘Water resilience and the future of investments in Italy and Europe’ organized on 22 April at the European University Institute in Florence-Fiesole by Arera and Wareg. Second only to the Hera Group, among the largest national multi-utilities, Padania Acque was positioned in class A with regards to water losses, service interruptions and disposal of sewage sludge.
President Cristian Chizzoliaccompanied by the CEO Alessandro Lanfranchiby the general manager Stefano Ottolini and by the president of the area office of the province of Cremona and mayor of Gussola Stefano Belli Franzini, collected the prestigious award in front of an audience made up of representatives of institutions, companies and Italian and European water stakeholders. «Padania Acque is a public company, totally owned by the municipalities of the province of Cremona – commented Chizzoli – for this reason the company, together with all its employees, shares the award with the Cremona area».
