Genoa – Shortly before 7 pm on the A10 Genoa – Savona, in the stretch between Arenzano and Celle Ligure in the direction of Savona, there were 8 kilometers of queue due to an accident that occurred inside the “Cantalupo” tunnel at km 30, where traffic was blocked for almost two hours. 6 cars are involved.

Medical and mechanical emergency services intervened at the scene of the event, as well as the Traffic Police and staff from the Genoa Section Directorate of Autostrade per l’Italia. Motorists coming from Genoa and heading to Savona are advised to exit at Arenzano and return to Celle Ligure after having traveled along the state road 1 Aurelia.

Update at 8pm

At approximately 8pm, on the A10 Genoa – Savona, in the stretch between Arenzano and Celle Ligure in the direction of Savona, the accident which occurred inside the “Cantalupo” tunnel at km 30 was resolved, involving 6 cars. At the event site there is currently traffic on both available lanes and there is a 14km queue decreasing towards Savona.

As a result of the high number of vehicles that poured onto the Via Aurelia, even ordinary traffic remained congested until late in the evening.
