Director Peter Greenaway shouted his “action” in front of a crowd of onlookers. The place, of course, it lent itself well to not going unnoticed: the set of the film has in fact moved today (April 24) to the central city Piazza San Michelewhere he made his appearance thereOscar-winning actor Dustin Hoffman, which the city has now learned to see in all its most characteristic places. Especially when the actor takes a few breaks from the set.
This afternoon the filming in one of the busiest squares in the city, which began around 2pm, attracted many: locals from Lucca but also many tourists who came to spend April 25th in Lucca. There parish of the historic center presented Dustin Hoffman with a medal reproducing the seal of the chapter of San Michele and the 500th anniversary of the establishment of the collegiate church of San Michele between Silvestro Gigli and Pope Leo
Filming will also continue in the next few days, after the break for Liberation Day.
